About myself, eh?
Um... Hello, my name is Matt.
(Queue un-enthusiastic reply)
"Hiiii Maaatt."
Thank you.
In case you were wondering, yes, I have had LJ for a long time. I decided not to use my previous account because, for some reason, I didn't think that the name Maliced Decay really described me in a positive manner - nor does it project a sense of professionalism to my friends/readers. Why is that important? Because, reader, I want you to think of me seriously (try not to laugh too hard, please) as I share with you my trials and tribulations as an aspiring author. For that, I believe it important that you view me as a very serious, objective and personable... well, I guess you could call me a tour guide.
A tour guide for what, you might ask? I will be taking you along with me on the road to being published. And in return for your support and readership, I will do my best to repay you with any knowledge - however small - that I might glean from my journey. (Be warned, there is a chance of failure. But if you had good parents, they probably taught you, at the very least, a little something about risk - although what, I'm not entirely sure. Sounded good, though, didn't it?)
Now, who wants to touch me?
